Is it safe to provide the root privilege of Logpoint to our customers? Do we have to look for any security concerns while doing so? Has it been done before ?
Is it ok to provide root privilege of Logpoint to our customers who are confident in linux OS ?

No It is not safe to provide root privilege of Logpoint to our customers. We have a user li-admin for the customers. They have limited privileges and no root authority.
Root privileges are only allowed to support or partner users. They require certificate based authentication. And the certificate is only available for authorized users.
